Information Cyber Security Leader

Job description

The Information Cyber Security Leader assists the Information Technologies Group Leader in overseeing information risk management for the organization and he is responsible for the following tasks:

• support the company vision, strategy, and security program to ensure information assets and technologies are adequately protected;

• direct involvement in identifying, developing, implementing, and maintaining processes across the company to reduce information and Information Technology (IT) risks;

• supporting the development, implementation and maintenance of the company information security and privacy policies, guidelines, processes and procedures in compliance with the national regulations and standards;

• developing and leading the incident response and investigation procedures and processes;

• assisting in the development of disaster recovery and business continuity plans and procedures;

• monitoring and reporting on information security activities and compliance across all company departments;

• performing security assessments on the acquisitions of technology products, tools, and services


• Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.

• Experience with presentations, project management, team facilitation, budgeting, and training are highly preferred.

• Experience or training in customer service techniques is also desirable.

• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP, CISM or CISA, and CPA or MBA) is preferred.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE (fields and years of work experience)

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in one of the following fields: IT – required


• Capable and familiar with IT standard, processes and tools

• Evaluate and solve security related problems and issues;

• present information both orally and in writing;

• communicate with individuals and groups in a face-to-face, one-on-one setting

• Exhibit strong interpersonal skills and communication methods to work effectively with all levels of the organization

• High level of interpersonal skills to work independently and effectively with others

• Exhibit strong multi-tasking skills

• Dealing with conflict and with ambiguity

• High level of oral and written communication skills in English – Required
