Sales Representative new business initiatives

Job description



The selected candidate will be responsible to support PUNCH organization within the Sales & Marketing Team, growing the customer base and meeting the sales targets. Primary purpose of the position and description of the major expected results or objectives related to New Business Initiatives, include the following:

The Sales Representative will have to work supporting the organization reaching sales targets and will have to achieve her/his individual targets which are set in agreement with the team leader.

She/he will be responsible to develop the customer base for the new business initiatives. 

She/He will contribute to analyze and understand customer needs, trends and competitor information to the team.

Main responsibilities:

- Generate leads and prospects for the new business initiatives:

  • Scout the market for new customers through LinkedIn, personal knowledge, other channels as required
  • Contact prospects through blueprint emails, cold calls, other channels

- Analyse and understanding customer/ market needs

- Identify opportunities, establish priorities with the managers’ support and supervision

- Create tailored propositions with the Product Owners’ support

- Key contact person for the customer (solve customers’ problems, provide individual solutions)

- Contribution to a good team spirit and willingness to grow to improve his individual skills

Main tasks

- Build customer relationship

- Develop quotations, towards the sales of products and services

- Cooperate with the affected department towards the common goal to satisfy the customer within the product/project proposition

- Negotiation, supervised and supported by the sales mgmt. team

- Basic analysis of the market, supported by the benchmarking team

- Play an active role at sales meetings


• Automotive Industry (OEM and supply base) knowledge and passion

• Hardware and/or Software Engineering basic understanding

• Additive Manufacturing industry basic understanding

• Dealing with customers: understanding needs, generating solutions, managing contacts,

• Team Player

• Communication skills, with focus on capabilities to build relationships

• Negotiation skills

• Resolving conflicts


• Engineering or Economics Master Degree

• Demonstrated experience in a Sales position on the Automotive Market, min. 4yrs

• Fluent in English, additional languages recommended
