Activity Description

Support DUMAREY Softronix organization on Advanced Data Analytics activities.

• Vehicles Fleet collect data during mileage accumulation from different ECUs, proper elaboration is needed to create reports, highlighting possible problems and support for investigation on Root Cause Analysis. The activities will be focused on the Extraction, Load, Transformation and generation of business information from data recorded by a recording system installed on such Fleet vehicles.
• The activity might involve Cloud elaboration and development of pipelines from row data to visualization of the most relevant parameters based on domain expertise request and statistical analysis to extract state of health of vehicles in production.

Delivery/Tasks

Hereafter a list of activities the Data Scientist must perform within his daily job:

• Define and perform the data collection, including all the relevant information for the analysis and modeling
• Support and enhance the standardization of data collection procedures on a project basis
• Pre-process structured and unstructured data, check the integrity and validity for the analysis and further visualization
• Perform the exploratory data analysis and implement data mining techniques to extract information and insights
• Use Statistics, Machine Learning and Deep Learning to develop models for system analysis, prediction and forecasting
• Presenting results to both internal and external customers

Required Skills

• Knowledge of the basic concepts and methods of Statistics (inference and modelling) and experience with applications
• Knowledge of the most relevant Machine Learning and Deep Learning methods for regression and classification (e.g. linear regression, SVM, feed-forward neural networks, convolutional neural networks, decision trees, etc.)
• Knowledge of the most common scripting languages like Python
• Extended SW programing skills (i.e. Python, Java, C++, SQL, PHP, Javascript)
• Knowledge of major commercial BI software (e.g. Power BI, Qlik, Tableau)
• Basic knowledge of database architecture and management
• Excellent Communication Skills for technical and non-technical audiences
• Problem-solving attitude
• Analytical mindset and business acumen
