Supplier Quality Intern


Job description

We are looking for an Intern within our Supplier Quality team. Candidates who are completing exams and want to do a thesis will also be evaluated.



- Student in Electronic, Mechatronic, Mechanical or Management Engineering

- General Knowledge of Automotive Industry/Process

- Advanced/Fluent in English

- Advanced/good in web-based software and MS Office (mainly Excel)

- Preferable Data Mining experience

- Curious, Communicative, Diligent and Accurate.


General description of the tasks:

The intern, with the assistance of the company tutor, will support the Supplier Quality team in determining root cause of supplier manufacturing problems and tracking implementation of timely, effective, and efficient quality resolutions.

He/she will support Procurement & Quality colleagues in reporting supplier crisis (cost/quality and/or capacity issues) both on-site and back office. He/she will track:

- supplier understanding and compliance with APQP processes and product PPAP submission and approval requirements

- the execution plans to ensure supplier fulfilment of quoted capacity through use of Run at Rate workbook

- open issue lists, due dates and action items to improve quality performance of suppliers

He/she will take part in workshops at Supplier Sites and support in assisting suppliers in developing robust quality systems.
